Just Another Day...

Just some snapshots from our daily lives.

Faith does a lot of playing during her day...

Sweetness herself...Faith is all snuggled up with her puppy.

Out to dinner and having fun while we wait for our food.

Who needs expensive toys? Faith crawled across the room to get to the empty pop container that she had spied, and was quite happy for a good amount of time playing with it.

This is the life!

Splish, Splash

Splish! Splash!

Faith took her first bath in the big girl tub. We packed away her infant tub which she was getting too big for and put her in the regular tub. We weren't sure if she would like it, but she had a blast splahing around and chewing on her duckie. I am so looking forward to our swimming classes that start at the end of the month. I think she will be like a fish in the water as she grows.

Reading Already?

Well, not yet. But, if this is any indication, she'll be a regular at the library. Speaking of the library, we had our first TinyTots Storytime there a couple of weeks ago. It was fun. Faith enjoyed looking at the other children. We sang some songs, read some board books, and there were even puppets! Faith and I are looking forward to the class next week. We missed a few due to yucky winter illnesses going around like the stomach flu!

Yummm???

I'm not sure if Faith enjoyed her first taste of carrots or not, but she sure likes them now.

Faith's First Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas on the farm in Virginia. Faith flew on an airplane for the first time, and she did really well! We spent a whole week at CeeGee's (Jacklyn's mom). The weather was a welcome break from the cold here at home. It looked and felt like it was really October. We spent a lot of time hanging out, playing with Faith on the floor, and eating.

On Christmas Eve, we went to a candlelight service at a church down the road and sang Christmas carols. We came back to the house and ate a very yummy dinner. We had a Happy Birthday Jesus party, complete with a birthday cake. There were desserts galore, and we can already picture Faith next year tasting a little of everything. She was certainly the shinning star of the night. After Faith went to bed, we sat around the table and played board games. On Christmas morning, we began the day snuggling in bed with Faith. The day was really laid back. Mostly, we just enjoyed each others company. It was lovely. We can't wait for Christmas next year. We can't believe that she will be 19 months old then!

Christmas Eve. Faith sat with us at the table while we enjoyed a wonderful meal together.

Floor time.

Christmas with daddy.

Happy girl :-)

ZZzzz

Faith must really wear herself out playing. I laid her down for a nap one day and when I went to check on her, I found her just out cold...head smooshed against the bumper, blissfully dreaming.

Playtime

Who knew playing with a bucket on the floor could be so entertaining?
